അപ്പോൾ ബെന്യാമീന്യർ മടങ്ങിവന്നു; ഗിലെയാദിലെ യാബേശിലുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളിൽവെച്ചു അവർ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നവരെ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു;

- 14അപ്പോൾ ബെന്യാമീന്യർ മടങ്ങിവന്നു; ഗിലെയാദിലെ യാബേശിലുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളിൽവെച്ചു അവർ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നവരെ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു;
- 15അവർക്കു അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു തികെഞ്ഞില്ല. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു ഛേദം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ജനം ബെന്യാമീന്യരെക്കുറിച്ചു ദുഃഖിച്ചു.
- 16ശേഷിച്ചവർക്കു സ്ത്രീകളെ കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു? ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്ത്രീകൾ അറ്റുപോയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു സഭയിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു.
