അവ്വണ്ണം ലേവ്യരും നിങ്ങൾ മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പിൻ; ഈ ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധമല്ലോ; നിങ്ങൾ ദുഃഖിക്കരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു സർവ്വജനത്തെയും സാവധാനപ്പെടുത്തി.

- 13പിറ്റെന്നാൾ സകലജനത്തിന്റെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ന്യായപ്രമാണവാക്യങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എസ്രാശാസ്ത്രിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി.
