അങ്ങനെ അവൾ മരുമക്കളുമായി പാർത്തിരുന്ന സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു യെഹൂദാദേശത്തേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാൻ യാത്രയായി.

- 8എന്നാൽ നൊവൊമി മരുമക്കൾ ഇരുവരോടും: നിങ്ങൾ താന്താന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവിൻ; മരിച്ചവരോടും എന്നോടും നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടും ദയചെയ്യുമാറാകട്ടെ.
- 9നിങ്ങൾ താന്താന്റെ ഭർത്താവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ വിശ്രാമം പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപ നല്കുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവരെ ചുംബിച്ചു; അവർ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ കരഞ്ഞു.
