తరువాత దావీదు సిరియా సంబంధమైన దమస్కులో కావలి సైన్యమును ఉంచెను; సిరియనులు దావీదునకు కప్పముకట్టు సేవకులైరి. ఈ ప్రకారము దావీదు పోయిన చోట్లనెల్ల యెహోవా అతనికి సహాయముచేయుచు వచ్చెను.
Taruvaata daaveedu siriyaa sambandhamaina damaskulo kaavali sainyamunu unchenu; siriyanulu daaveedunaku kappamukattu sevakulairi. Ee prakaaramu daaveedu poyina chotlanella yehovaa ataniki sahaayamucheyuchu vachchenu.

- 7మరియు హదరెజెరు సేవకులు పట్టుకొనియున్న బంగారు డాళ్లను దావీదు తీసికొని యెరూషలేమునకు చేర్చెను.
- 8హదరెజెరుయొక్క పట్టణములైన టిబ్హతులో నుండియు, కూనులోనుండియు దావీదు బహు విస్తారమైన యిత్తడిని తీసికొని వచ్చెను. దానితో సొలొమోను ఇత్తడి సముద్రమును స్తంభములును ఇత్తడి వస్తువులను చేయించెను.
