26పిమ్మటదావీదు యెహోవాకు అచ్చట ఒక బలిపీఠమును కట్టించి. దహనబలులను సమాధాన బలులను అర్పించి యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టగా ఆయన ఆకాశములోనుండి దహనబలిపీఠము మీదికి అగ్నివలన అతనికి ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను.

29మోషే అరణ్యమందు చేయించిన యెహోవా నివాసపు గుడారమును దహనబలిపీఠమును ఆ కాలమందు గిబియోనులోని ఉన్నత స్థలమందుండెను.
30దావీదు యెహోవాదూత పట్టుకొనిన కత్తికి భయపడినవాడై దేవునియొద్ద విచారించుటకు ఆ స్థలమునకు వెళ్ల లేకుండెను.
