23యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పదియొకటవ సంవత్సరమున ఒమీ ఇశ్రాయేలువారికి రాజై పండ్రెండు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను; ఆ పండ్రెండింటిలో ఆరు సంవత్సరములు అతడు తిర్సాలో ఏలెను.
24అతడు షెమెరునొద్ద షోమ్రోను కొండను నాలుగు మణుగుల వెండికి కొనుక్కొని ఆ కొండమీద పట్టణ మొకటి కట్టించి, ఆ కొండ యజమానుడైన షెమెరు అనునతని పేరును బట్టి తాను కట్టించిన పట్టణమునకు షోమ్రోను అను పేరు పెట్టెను.
