వాడు సౌలుతోచిత్తగించుము, నా యొద్ద పావు తులము వెండి కలదు. మనకు మార్గము తెలియజెప్పినందుకై దానిని ఆ దైవజనుని కిత్తుననెను.

Vaadu saulutochittaginchumu, naa yodda paavu tulamu vendi kaladu. Manaku maargamu teliyajeppinandukai daanini aa daivajanuni kittunanenu.

9ఇప్పుడు ప్రవక్తయను పేరు నొందువాడు పూర్వము దీర్ఘదర్శియనిపించుకొనెను. పూర్వము ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో దేవునియొద్ద విచారణ చేయుటకై ఒకడు బయలుదేరినయెడలమనము దీర్ఘదర్శకుని యొద్దకు పోవు దము రండని జనులు చెప్పుకొనుట వాడుక.
