యాజకులును లేవీయులలో పరిచారము చేయువారును తప్ప యెహోవా మందిరము లోపలికి మరి ఎవరును రాకూడదు, వారు ప్రతిష్ఠింపబడిన వారు గనుక వారు లోపలికి రావచ్చునుగాని జనులందరు యెహోవా ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞచొప్పున బయట ఉండవలెను.

- 4కాబట్టి మీరు చేయవలసిన దేమనగా, మీలో యాజకులైనవారేమి లేవీయులైనవారేమి విశ్రాంతి దినమున లోపల ప్రవేశించువారు మూడు భాగములై, యొక భాగము ద్వారపాలకులుగా ఉండవలెను.
- 5ఒక భాగము రాజనగరునొద్ద ఉండవలెను. ఒక భాగము పునాది గుమ్మము నొద్ద ఉండవలెను, జనులందరు యెహోవా మందిరపు ఆవరణములలో ఉండవలెను.

- 7లేవీయులందరు తమ తమ ఆయుధములను చేతపట్టుకొని రాజుచుట్టును ఉండవలెను, మందిరము లోపలికి మరి ఎవరైనను వచ్చినయెడల ఆ వచ్చినవారికి మరణశిక్ష విధించుడి; రాజు లోపలికి వచ్చినప్పుడేమి బయటికి వెళ్లు నప్పుడేమి మీరు అతనితోకూడ ఉండవలెను.
- 8కాబట్టి లేవీయులును యూదావారందరును యాజకుడైన యెహో యాదా ఆజ్ఞ యంతటి ప్రకారము చేసిరి; యాజకుడైన యెహోయాదా వంతులవారికి సెలవియ్యలేదు గనుక ప్రతి వాడు విశ్రాంతిదినమున బయటికి వెళ్ల వలసిన తనవారిని ఆ దినమున లోపలికి రావలసిన తనవారిని తీసికొనివచ్చెను.
