యాజకులలో ఒక్కొక్కడు తనకు నెలవైన వారియొద్ద తీసికొని, మందిరము ఎచ్చటెచ్చట శిథిలమై యున్నదో అచ్చటనెల్ల దానిని బాగుచేయింపవలెనని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

- 7యోవాషు యాజకుడైన యెహోయాదాను మిగి లిన యాజకులను పిలిపించిమందిరములో శిథిలమైన స్థలములను మీరెందుకు బాగుచేయక పోతిరి? ఇకను మీ మీ నెలవైన వారియొద్ద ద్రవ్యము తీసికొనక, మందిరములో శిథిలమైన స్థలములను బాగుచేయుటకై మీరు అంతకుముందు తీసికొనినదాని నప్పగించుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి యుండెను.
