కాబట్టి యాజకులుమందిరములో శిథిల మైన స్థలములను బాగుచేయుట మా వశము లేదు గనుక జనులయొద్ద ద్రవ్యము ఇక తీసికొనమని చెప్పిరి.

- 9అంతట యాజకుడైన యెహోయాదా ఒక పెట్టెను తెచ్చి దాని మూతకు బెజ్జము చేసి, బలిపీఠము దగ్గరగా యెహోవా మందిరములో ప్రవేశించు వారి కుడిపార్శ్వమందు దాని నుంచగా ద్వారముకాయు యాజకులు యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి వచ్చిన ద్రవ్యమంతయు అందులో వేసిరి.
- 10పెట్టెలో ద్రవ్యము విస్తారముగా ఉన్నదని వారు తెలియ జేయగా రాజుయొక్క ప్రధాన మంత్రియును ప్రధాన యాజకుడును వచ్చి, యెహోవా మందిరమందు దొరికిన ద్రవ్యము లెక్కచూచి సంచులలో ఉంచిరి.
