అయితే కల్దీయులు పట్టణముచుట్టు ఉండగా రాజు మైదానమునకు పోవుమార్గమున వెళ్లి పోయెను; కల్దీయుల సైన్యము రాజును తరిమి, అతని సైన్యము అతనికి దూరముగా చెదరిపోయినందున యెరికో మైదానమందు అతని పట్టుకొనిరి.

- 6వారు రాజును పట్టుకొని రిబ్లా పట్టణమందున్న బబులోను రాజునొద్దకు తీసి కొనిపోయినప్పుడు రాజు అతనికి శిక్ష విధించెను.
- 7సిద్కియా చూచుచుండగా వారు అతని కుమారులను చంపించి సిద్కియా కన్నులు ఊడదీయించి యిత్తడి సంకెళ్లతో అతని బంధించి బబులోను పట్టణమునకు తీసికొనిపోయిరి.
