- 5అమాశా యూదా వారిని సమకూర్చుటకై వెళ్లిపోయెను. అతడు ఆలస్యము చేసినందున అతనికి నిర్ణయించిన కాలము మీరి పోయినప్పుడు
- 6దావీదు అబీషైని పిలువనంపిబిక్రి కుమారుడైన షెబ అబ్షాలోముకంటె మనకు ఎక్కువ కీడుచేయును; వాడు ప్రాకారములుగల పట్టణములలో చొచ్చి మనకు దొరకక పోవునేమో గనుక నీవు నీ యేలినవాని సేవకులను వెంట బెట్టుకొని పోయి వాని తరిమి పట్టుకొనుమని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.
- 7కాబట్టి యోవాబు వారును కెరేతీయులును పెలేతీయులును బలాఢ్యులందరును అతనితో కూడ యెరూషలేములోనుండి బయలుదేరి బిక్రి కుమారుడగు షెబను తరుమబోయిరి.
