ఇట్లుండగా దానియేలు బబులోనులోని జ్ఞానులను నశింప జేయుటకు రాజు నియమించిన అర్యోకునొద్దకు వెళ్లిబబులోనులోని జ్ఞానులను నశింపజేయవద్దు, నన్ను రాజు సముఖమునకు తోడుకొని పొమ్ము, నేను ఆ కల భావమును రాజునకు తెలియజేసెదననెను.

- 25కావున అర్యోకురాజునకు భావము తెలియజెప్పగల యొక మనుష్యుని చెరపట్టబడిన యూదులలో నేను కను గొంటినని రాజుసముఖమున మనవిచేసి, దానియేలును త్వరగా రాజుసన్నిధికి తోడుకొనిపోయెను.
- 26రాజునేను చూచిన కలయు దాని భావమును తెలియజెప్పుట నీకు శక్యమా? అని బెల్తెషాజరు అను దానియేలును అడుగగా
