మేము మా దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట వినలేదు గనుక ఆయన తన సమస్త కార్యముల విషయమై న్యాయస్థుడైయుండి, సమయము కనిపెట్టి, ఈ కీడు మా మీదికి రాజేసెను.

- 15ప్రభువా మా దేవా, నీవు నీ బాహు బలమువలన నీ జనమును ఐగుప్తులోనుండి రప్పించుటవలన ఇప్పటివరకు నీ నామమునకు ఘనత తెచ్చుకొంటివి. మేమైతే పాపముచేసి చెడునడతలు నడిచినవారము.
- 16ప్రభువా, మా పాపములనుబట్టియు మా పితరుల దోషమునుబట్టియు, యెరూషలేము నీ జనులచుట్టునున్న సకల ప్రజలయెదుట నిందాస్పదమైనది. యెరూషలేము నీకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన పర్వతము; ఆ పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చిన నీ కోపమును నీ రౌద్రమును తొలగనిమ్మని నీ నీతికార్యము లన్నిటినిబట్టి విజ్ఞాపనము చేసికొనుచున్నాను.
