వారు నిన్ను గూర్చి ప్రలాపవచనమెత్తి తూరు పట్టణమా, నీతో సాటియైన పట్టణమేది? సముద్రములో మునిగిలయమై పోయిన పట్టణమా, నీకు సమమైన పట్టణమేది?
Vaaru ninnu goorchi pralaapavachanametti tooru pattanamaa, neeto saatiyaina pattanamedi? Samudramulo munigilayamai poyina pattanamaa, neeku samamaina pattanamedi?

- 34ఇప్పుడు అగాధజలములలో మునిగి సముద్రబలము చేత బద్దలైతివే, నీ వర్తకమును నీ యావత్సమూహమును నీతోకూడ కూలెనేయని చెప్పుకొనుచు బహుగా ఏడ్చు దురు.
