అతడింక ఆయనతో మాటలాడుచు ఒకవేళ అక్కడ నలుబదిమందియే కనబడుదురేమో అనినప్పుడు ఆయన ఆ నలుబది మందిని బట్టి నాశనము చేయక యుందునని చెప్పగా

- 30అతడు ప్రభువు కోపపడని యెడల నేను మాటలాడెదను; ఒకవేళ అక్కడ ముప్పది మందియే కనబడుదురేమో అనినప్పుడు ఆయన అక్కడ ముప్పదిమంది నాకు కనబడినయెడల నాశనము చేయననెను.
- 31అందుకతడు ఇదిగో ప్రభువుతో మాటలాడ తెగించితిని; ఒకవేళ అక్కడ ఇరువదిమంది కనబడుదురేమో అని నప్పుడు ఆయన ఆ యిరువదిమందినిబట్టి నాశనము చేయకుందుననగా
