4. 16కావున రాజైన సిద్కియా జీవాత్మను మన కనుగ్రహించు యెహోవాతోడు నేను నీకు మరణము విధింపను, నీ ప్రాణము తీయ జూచుచున్న యీ మనుష్యుల చేతికి నిన్ను అప్పగింపను అని యిర్మీయాతో రహస్యముగా ప్రమాణము చేసెను.
5. 17అప్పుడు యిర్మీయా సిద్కియాతో ఇట్లనెనుదేవుడు, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడునీవు బబులోనురాజు అధిపతులయొద్దకు వెళ్లిన యెడల నీవు బ్రదికెదవు, ఈ పట్టణము అగ్నిచేత కాల్చబడదు, నీవును నీ యింటివారును బ్రదుకుదురు.
