యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యెదుట అమోరీయు లను అప్పగించిన దినమున, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వినుచుండగా యెహోషువ యెహోవాకు ప్రార్థన చేసెను సూర్యుడా, నీవు గిబియోనులో నిలువుము. చంద్రుడా, నీవు అయ్యాలోను లోయలో నిలువుము. జనులు తమ శత్రువులమీద పగతీర్చుకొనువరకు సూర్యుడు నిలిచెను చంద్రుడు ఆగెను. అను మాట యాషారు గ్రంథములో వ్రాయబడియున్నది గదా.
Yehovaa ishraayeleeyula yeduta amoreeyu lanu appaginchina dinamuna, ishraayeleeyulu vinuchundagaa yehoshuva yehovaaku praarthana chesenu sooryudaa, neevu gibiyonulo niluvumu. Chandrudaa, neevu ayyaalonu loyalo niluvumu. Janulu tama shatruvulameeda pagateerchukonuvaraku sooryudu nilichenu chandrudu aagenu. Anu maata yaashaaru granthamulo vraayabadiyunnadi gadaa.
