18యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును మోయు యాజకులు యొర్దాను నడుమనుండి యెక్కి వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ యాజకుల అరకాళ్లు పొడినేలను నిలువగానే యొర్దాను నీళ్లు వాటిచోటికి ఎప్పటివలెనే మరలి దాని గట్లన్నిటి మీద పొర్లి పారెను.
19మొదటి నెల పదియవ తేదిని జనులు యొర్దానులోనుండి యెక్కి వచ్చి యెరికో తూర్పు ప్రాంతమందలి గిల్గాలులో దిగగా
20వారు యొర్దానులో నుండి తెచ్చిన పండ్రెండు రాళ్లను యెహోషువ గిల్గాలులో నిలువబెట్టించి
21ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లనెనురాబోవు కాలమున మీ సంతతివారు ఈ రాళ్లెందుకని తమ తండ్రులను అడుగుదురుగదా;
22అప్పుడు మీరుఇశ్రా యేలీయులు ఆరిన నేలమీద ఈ యొర్దానును దాటిరి.
