2. 24ఆ వేగులవారు ఆ పట్టణమునుండి ఒకడు వచ్చుట చూచినీవు దయచేసి యీ పట్టణములోనికి వెళ్లు త్రోవను మాకు చూపినయెడల మేము మీకు ఉపకారము చేసెదమని చెప్పిరి.
3. 25అతడు పట్టణములోనికి పోవు త్రోవను వారికి చూపగా వారు ఆ పట్టణమును కత్తి వాత హతము చేసిరిగాని ఆ మనుష్యుని వాని కుటుంబికుల నందరిని పోనిచ్చిరి.
4. 26ఆ మనుష్యుడు హిత్తీయుల దేశము నకు వెళ్లి ఒక పట్టణమును కట్టించి దానికి లూజు అను పేరుపెట్టెను. నేటివరకు దానికదే పేరు.
5. 27మనష్షీయులు బేత్షెయానును దాని పల్లెలను, తయి నాకును దాని పల్లెలను, దోరునివాసులను దోరు పల్లెలను, ఇబ్లెయామును దాని పల్లెలను, మెగిద్దో నివాసులను, మెగిద్దో పల్లెలను, స్వాధీనపరచుకొన లేదు; ఏలయనగా కనానీయులు ఆ దేశములో నివసింపవలెనని గట్టిపట్టు పట్టియుండిరి.
