గానిఆలకించుము, నీవు గర్భవతివై కుమా రుని కందువు. కాబట్టి నీవు ద్రాక్షారసమునేగాని మద్య మునేగాని త్రాగకుండుము, అపవిత్రమైన దేనినైనను తిన కుండుము, ఆ బిడ్డ గర్భమున పుట్టినది మొదలుకొని చని పోవువరకు దేవునికి నాజీరు చేయబడిన వాడై యుండునని నాతో చెప్పెననెను.

Gaaniaalakinchumu, neevu garbhavativai kumaa runi kanduvu. Kaabatti neevu draakshaarasamunegaani madya munegaani traagakundumu, apavitramaina deninainanu tina kundumu, aa bidda garbhamuna puttinadi modalukoni chani povuvaraku devuniki naajeeru cheyabadina vaadai yundunani naato cheppenanenu.

King James Version (KJV): But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean [thing:] for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.
World English Bible (WEB): but he said to me, ‘Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink. Don’t eat any unclean thing, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to the day of his death.’”

9దేవుడు మానోహ ప్రార్థన నాలకించెను గనుక, ఆ స్త్రీ పొలములో కూర్చుండగా దేవునిదూత ఆమెను దర్శించెను.
