కాబట్టి మీలో ఎవడును రక్తము తినకూడదనియు, మీలో నివసించు ఏ పరదేశియు రక్తము తినకూడదనియు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.

- 13మరియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలోనేగాని మీలో నివ సించు పరదేశులలోనేగాని ఒకడు తినదగిన మృగమునైనను పక్షినైనను వేటాడి పట్టినయెడల వాడు దాని రక్తమును ఒలికించి మంటితో కప్పవలెను; ఏలయనగా అది సమస్త దేహములకు ప్రాణాధారము;
- 14దానిరక్తము దాని ప్రాణమున కాధారము. కాబట్టి మీరు ఏ దేహరక్తమును తినకూడదు. వాటి రక్తము సర్వ దేహములకు ప్రాణా ధారము; దానిని తిను ప్రతివాడు మరణశిక్ష నొందునని నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.
