నేను తమకు విరోధముగా నడి చితిననియు, తమ శత్రువుల దేశములోనికి తమ్మును రప్పిం చితిననియు, ఒప్పు కొనినయెడల, అనగా లోబడని తమ హృదయములు లొంగి తాము చేసిన దోషమునకు ప్రతి దండనను అనుభవించితిమని ఒప్పుకొనినయెడల,

- 42నేను యాకోబుతో చేసిన నా నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకము చేసి కొందును; నేను ఇస్సాకుతో చేసిన నా నిబంధనను నేను అబ్రాహాముతో చేసిన నా నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకము చేసి కొందును; ఆ దేశమునుకూడ జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొందును.
- 43వారిచేత విడువబడి వారు లేనప్పుడు పాడైపోయిన వారి దేశమును తన విశ్రాంతిదినములను అనుభవించును. వారు నా తీర్పులను తిరస్కరించి నా కట్టడలను అసహ్యించు కొనిరి. ఆ హేతువుచేతనే వారు తమ దోషశిక్ష న్యాయమని ఒప్పుకొందురు.
