16అటువలె రాతినేలను విత్తబడినవారెవరనగా, వాక్యము విని సంతోషముగా అంగీకరించువారు;
17అయితే వారిలో వేరు లేనందున, కొంతకాలము వారు నిలుతురు గాని వాక్యము నిమిత్తము శ్రమయైనను హింసయైనను కలుగగానే వారు అభ్యంతరపడుదురు.
18ఇతరులు ముండ్లపొదలలో విత్తబడినవారు;
19వీరు వాక్యము విందురు గాని ఐహిక విచారములును, ధనమోసమును మరి ఇతరమైన అపేక్షలును లోపల చొచ్చి, వాక్యమును అణచివేయుట వలన అది నిష్ఫలమగును.
20మంచి నేలను విత్తబడినవారెవరనగా, వాక్యము విని, దానిని అంగీకరించి ముప్పదంతలు గాను అరువదంతలుగాను నూరంతలుగాను ఫలించువారని చెప్పెను.
