2. 9ஏனென்றால் நீ அப்பம் புசியாமலும், தண்ணீர் குடியாமலும், போனவழியாய்த்திரும்பாமலும் இருவென்று கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய வார்த்தையால் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லி,
3. 10அவன் பெத்தேலுக்கு வந்தவழியாய்த் திரும்பாமல், வேறுவழியாய்ப்போய்விட்டான்.
4. 11கிழவனான ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி பெத்தேலிலே குடியிருந்தான்; அவன் குமாரர் வந்து தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் அன்றையதினம் பெத்தேலிலே செய்த எல்லாச் செய்கைகளையும், அவன் ராஜாவோடே சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளையும் தங்கள் தகப்பனுக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள்.
5. 12அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தகப்பன்: அவன் எந்த வழி போனான் என்று அவர்களைக் கேட்டான். யூதாவிலிருந்து வந்த தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் போனவழி இன்னதென்று அவன் குமாரர் பார்த்திருந்தபடியால்,
