“ ‘அந்நாளில் நான் கோகுவுக்கு இஸ்ரயேலின் சவக்கடலை நோக்கிக் கிழக்கே போகும் பயணிகளின் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் புதைக்கும் இடமொன்றைக் கொடுப்பேன். கோகும் அவனுடைய எல்லா கூட்டத்தாரும் அங்கு புதைக்கப்படுவதால் அது பயணிகளின் பாதைக்குத் தடையாக அமையும். எனவே அது அமோனியனாகிய கோகின் பள்ளத்தாக்கு என்று அழைக்கப்படும்.

தேவன் சொன்னார்: “அந்நாளில், நான் இஸ்ரவேலில் கோகைப் புதைக்கிற இடத்தைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பேன். அவன், சவக் கடலின் கிழக்கே பயணக்காரர்களின் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் புதைக்கப்படுவான். அது பயணிகளின் வழியை அடைக்கும். ஏனென்றால், கோகும் அவனது படையும் அந்த இடத்தில் புதைக்கப்படுவார்கள். ஜனங்கள் இதனை ‘ஆமோன் கோகின் பள்ளத்தாக்கு’ என்று அழைப்பார்கள்.

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamon-gog.
