3. 23அவனுடைய கைகள் அவன் சகோதரனாகிய ஏசாவின் கைகளைப்போலரோமமுள்ளவைகளாயிருந்தபடியினாலே, இன்னான் என்று அறியாமல், அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்து,
4. 24நீ என் குமாரனாகிய ஏசாதானோ என்றான்; அவன்: நான்தான் என்றான்.
5. 25அப்பொழுது அவன்: என் குமாரனே, நீ வேட்டையாடிக் கொண்டுவந்ததை நான் புசித்து, என் ஆத்துமா உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி அதை என் கிட்டக் கொண்டுவா என்றான்; அவன் அதைக் கிட்டக் கொண்டுபோனான்; அப்பொழுது அவன் புசித்தான்; பிற்பாடு, திராட்சரசம் அவனுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்து கொடுத்தான், அவன் குடித்தான்.
