1. 4அப்பொழுது ஏசா எதிர்கொண்டு ஓடி வந்து, அவனைத் தழுவி, அவன் கழுத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு, அவனை முத்தஞ்செய்தான்; இருவரும் அழுதார்கள்.
2. 5அவன் தன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, ஸ்திரீகளையும் பிள்ளைகளையும் கண்டு: உன்னோடிருக்கிற இவர்கள் யார்? என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: தேவன் உமது அடியானுக்கு அருளின பிள்ளைகள் என்றான்.
3. 6அப்பொழுது பணிவிடைக்காரிகளும் அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளும் சேர்ந்துவந்து வணங்கினார்கள்.
4. 7லேயாளும் அவள் பிள்ளைகளும் சேர்ந்துவந்து வணங்கினார்கள்; பின்பு யோசேப்பும் ராகேலும் சேர்ந்துவந்து வணங்கினார்கள்.
5. 8அப்பொழுது அவன்: எனக்கு எதிர்கொண்டு வந்த அந்த மந்தையெல்லாம் என்னத்துக்கு என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: என் ஆண்டவனுடைய கண்களில் எனக்குத் தயவு கிடைக்கிறதற்கு என்றான்.
