3. 14ஜனங்களுக்காக ஒரே மனுஷன் சாகிறது நலமாயிருக்குமென்று யூதருக்கு ஆலோசனை சொன்னவன் இந்தக் காய்பாவே.
4. 15சீமோன்பேதுருவும் வேறொரு சீஷனும் இயேசுவுக்குப் பின்சென்றார்கள். அந்தச் சீஷன் பிரதான ஆசாரியனுக்கு அறிமுகமானவனாயிருந்ததினால், இயேசுவுடனேகூடப் பிரதான ஆசாரியனுடைய அரமனைக்குள் பிரவேசித்தான்.
5. 16பேதுரு வாசலருகே வெளியே நின்றான். அப்பொழுது பிரதான ஆசாரியனுக்கு அறிமுகமானவனாயிருந்த மற்றச் சீஷன் வெளியே வந்து, வாசல்காக்கிறவர்களுடனே பேசி, பேதுருவை உள்ளே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோனான்.
