4. 14அவன் லேகிவரைக்கும் வந்து சேர்ந்தபோது, பெலிஸ்தர் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய் ஆரவாரம் பண்ணினார்கள்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி அவன்மேல் பலமாய் இறங்கினதினால், அவன் புயங்களில் கட்டியிருந்த கயிறுகள் நெருப்புப்பட்ட நூல்போலாகி, அவன் கட்டுகள் அவன் கைகளை விட்டு அறுந்து போயிற்று.
5. 15உடனே அவன் ஒரு கழுதையின் பச்சைத் தாடையெலும்பைக் கண்டு, தன் கையை நீட்டி அதை எடுத்து, அதினாலே ஆயிரம் பேரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டான்.
