4. 36இஸ்ரவேலர் கிபியாவுக்கு அப்பாலே வைத்த பதிவிடையை நம்பியிருந்தபடியினாலே, பென்யமீனருக்கு இடம் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அதினாலே அவர்கள் முறிய அடிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள் என்று பென்யமீன் புத்திரருக்குக் காணப்பட்டது.
5. 37அப்பொழுது பதிவிடையிருந்தவர்கள் தீவிரமாய்க் கிபியாவின்மேல்பாய்ந்து பரவி, பட்டணத்தில் இருக்கிறவர்களெல்லாரையும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டினார்கள்.
