அதன்பின் கிதியோன் திரும்பிவந்து சுக்கோத்தின் மனிதர்களிடம், “சேபாவும், சல்முனாவும் இங்கே இருக்கிறார்கள். ‘நாங்கள் ஏன் உன் வீரர்களுக்கு உணவு கொடுக்கவேண்டும். சேபாவும், சல்முனாவும் உன்னுடைய கைகளில் இருக்கிறார்களா?’ என்று இவர்களைப்பற்றிக் கேட்டு என்னை ஏளனம் செய்தீர்கள்” என்றான்.

பின் கிதியோன் சுக்கோத் நகரத்திற்கு வந்தான். அவன் அந்நகரத்து மனிதர்களைப் பார்த்து, “சேபாவையும், சல்முனாவையும் இதோ பிடித்திருக்கிறோம். நீங்கள் எங்களைப் பார்த்துக் கிண்டலாக, ‘ஏன் உங்கள் களைத்த வீரர்களுக்கு உணவளிக்க வேண்டும்? நீங்கள் இன்னும் சேபாவையும் சல்முனாவையும் பிடிக்கவில்லை’ என்றீர்கள்” என்றான்.

And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna, with whom ye did upbraid me, saying, [Are] the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thy men [that are] weary?

4. 16பட்டணத்தின் மூப்பரைப் பிடித்து, வனாந்தரத்தின் முள்ளுகளையும் நெரிஞ்சில்களையும் கொண்டுவந்து, அவைகளால் சுக்கோத்தின் மனுஷருக்குப் புத்திவரப்பண்ணி,
5. 17பெனூவேலின் கோபுரத்தை இடித்து, அவ்வூர் மனுஷரையும் கொன்றுபோட்டான்.
