சங்கீதம் 138

உம்மை என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் துதிப்பேன்; தேவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்.
[A Psalm] of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

உமது பரிசுத்த ஆலுயத்திற்குநேராக நான் பணிந்து, உமது கிருபையினிமித்தமும் உமது உண்மையினிமித்தமும் உமது நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது சகலபிரஸ்தாபத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் உமது வார்த்தையை நீர் மகிமைப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறீர்.
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

நான் கூப்பிட்ட நாளிலே எனக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு அருளினீர்; என் ஆத்துமாவிலே பெலன்தந்து என்னைத் தைரியப்படுத்தினீர்;
In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, [and] strengthenedst me [with] strength in my soul.

கர்த்தாவே, பூமியின் ராஜாக்களெல்லாரும் உமது வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கும்போது உம்மைத் துதிப்பார்கள்.
All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

கர்த்தரின் மகிமை பெரிதாயிருப்பதினால், அவர்கள் கர்த்தரின் வழிகளைப் பாடுவார்கள்.
Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great [is] the glory of the LORD.

கர்த்தர் உயர்ந்தவராயிருந்தும், தாழ்மையுள்ளவனை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்; மேட்டிமையானவனையோ தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறார்.
Though the LORD [be] high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

நான் துன்பத்தின் நடுவில் நடந்தாலும் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பிப்பீர்; என் சத்துருக்களின் கோபத்துக்கு விரோதமாக உமது கையை நீட்டுவீர்; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னை இரட்சிக்கும்.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

கர்த்தர் எனக்காக யாவையும் செய்து முடிப்பார்; கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது; உமது கரத்தின் கிரியைகளை நெகிழவிடாதிருப்பீராக. (இராகத்தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம்.)
The LORD will perfect [that which] concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, [endureth] for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
