याबेश के वृद्ध लोगों ने उस से कहा, हमें सात दिन का अवकाश दे तब तक हम इस्राएल के सारे देश में दूत भेजेंगे। और यदि हम को कोई बचाने वाला न मिलेगा, तो हम तेरे ही पास निकल आएेंगे।

Yaabesh ke vruddh logom ne us se kahaa, hamem saat din kaa avakaash de tab tak ham israael ke saare desh mem doot bhejenge. Aur yadi ham ko koee bachaane vaalaa na milegaa, to ham tere hee paas nikal aaeేnge.

King James Version (KJV): And the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days’ respite, that we may send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if [there be] no man to save us, we will come out to thee.
World English Bible (WEB): The elders of Jabesh said to him, “Give us seven days, that we may send messengers to all the borders of Israel; and then, if there is no one to save us, we will come out to you.”

4दूतों ने शाऊलवाले गिबा में आकर लोगों को यह सन्देश सुनाया, और सब लोग चिल्ला चिल्लाकर रोने लगे।
5और शाऊल बैलों के पीछे पीछे मैदान से चला आता था; और शाऊल ने पूछा, लोगों को क्या हुआ कि वे रोते हैं? उन्हों ने याबेश के लोगों का सन्देश उसे सुनाया।
