And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay [them] here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew [them] there.

3. 34फिर शाऊल ने कहा, लोगों के बीच में इधर उधर फिरके उन से कहो, कि अपना अपना बैल और भेड़ शाऊल के पास ले जाओ, और वहीं बलि करके खाओ; और लोहू समेत खाकर यहोवा के विरूद्ध पाप न करो। तब सब लोगों ने उसी रात अपना अपना बैल ले जाकर वहीं बलि किया।
4. 35तब शाऊल ने यहोवा के लिये एक वेदी बनवाई; वह तो पहिली वेदी है जो उस ने यहोवा के लिये बनवाई।।
5. 36फिर शाऊल ने कहा, हम इसी राज को पलिश्तियों का पीछा करके उन्हें भोर तक लूटते रहें; और उन में से एक मनुष्य को भी जीवित न छोड़ें। उन्हों ने कहा, जो कुछ तुझे अच्छा लगे वही कर। परन्तु याजक ने कहा, हम इधर परमेश्वर के समीप आएं।
