47जब शाऊल इस्राएलियों के राज्य में स्थिर हो गया, तब वह मोआबी, अम्मोनी, एदोमी, और पलिश्ती, अपने चारों ओर के सब शत्रुओं से, और सोबा के राजाओं से लड़ा; और जहां जहां वह जाता वहां जय पाता था।
48फिर उस ने वीरता करके अमालेकियों को जीता, और इस्राएलियों को लूटनेवालों के हाथ से छुड़ाया।।
