मैं तेरे कुल के सब किसी से तो अपनी वेदी की सेवा न छीनूंगा, परन्तु तौभी तेरी आंखें देखती रह जाएंगी, और तेरा मन शोकित होगा, और तेरे घर की बढ़ती सब अपनी पूरी जवानी ही में मर मिटेंगें।
Maim tere kul ke sab kisee se to apanee vedee kee sevaa na chheenoongaa, parantu taubhee teree aankhem dekhatee rah jaaengee, aur teraa man shokit hogaa, aur tere ghar kee badhatee sab apanee pooree javaanee hee mem mar mitengen.

- 34और मेरी इस बात का चिन्ह वह विपत्ति होगी जो होप्नी और पीनहास नाम तेरे दोनों पुत्रों पर पड़ेगी; अर्थात् वे दोनो के दोनों एक ही दिन मर जाएंगे।
- 35और मैं अपने लिये एक विश्वासयोग्य याजक ठहराऊंगा, जो मेरे हृदय और मन की इच्छा के अनुसार किया करेगा, और मैं उसका घर बसाऊंगा और स्थिर करूंगा, और वह मेरे अभिषिक्त के आगे सब दिन चला फिरा करेगा।
