और शाऊल ने अपनी छावनी मार्ग के पास हकीला नाम पहाड़ी पर जो यशीमोन के साम्हने है डाली। परन्तु दाऊद जंगल में रहा; और उस ने जान लिया, कि शाऊल मेरा पीछा करने केा जंगल में आया है;
Aur shaaool ne apanee chhaavanee maarg ke paas hakeelaa naam pahaadee par jo yasheemon ke saamhane hai daalee. Parantu daaood jangal mem rahaa; aur us ne jaan liyaa, ki shaaool meraa peechhaa karane keా jangal mem aayaa hai;

- 2तब शाऊल उठकर इस्राएल केतीन हजार छांटे हुए योद्धा संग लिए हुए गया कि दाऊद को जीप के जंगल में खोजे।
- 3और शाऊल ने अपनी छावनी मार्ग के पास हकीला नाम पहाड़ी पर जो यशीमोन के साम्हने है डाली। परन्तु दाऊद जंगल में रहा; और उस ने जान लिया, कि शाऊल मेरा पीछा करने केा जंगल में आया है;
- 4तब दाऊद ने भेदियों को भेजकर निश्चय कर लिया कि शाऊल सचमुच आ गया है।
- 5तब शाऊल उठकर उस स्थान पर गया जहां शाऊल पड़ा था; और दाऊद ने उस स्थान को देखा जहां शाऊल अपने सेनापति नेर के पुत्रा अब्नेर समेत पड़ा था, और उसके लोग उसके चारों ओर डेरे डाले हुए थे।
