4. 28तब अहीमास ने पुकारके राजा से कहा, कल्याण। फिर उस ने भूमि पर मुंह के बल गिर राजा को दणडवत् करके कहा, तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा धन्य है, जिस ने मेरे प्रभु राजा के विरूद्ध हाथ उठानेवाले मनुष्यों को तेरे वश में कर दिया है!
5. 29राजा ने पूछा, क्या उस जवान अबशालोम का कल्याण है? अहीमास ने कहा, जब योआब ने राजा के कर्मचारी को और तेरे दास को भेज दिया, तब मुझे बड़ी भीड़ देख पड़ी, परन्तु मालूम न हुआ कि क्या हुआ था।
