तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, तू इस्त्राएलियों को मेरे ये वचन सुना, कि तुम लोगों ने तो आप ही देखा है कि मै ने तुम्हारे साथ आकाश से बातें की हैं।
Tab yahovaa ne moosaa se kahaa, too istraaeliyom ko mere ye vachan sunaa, ki tum logom ne to aap hee dekhaa hai ki mai ne tumhaare saath aakaash se baatem kee hain.

- 20मूसा ने लोगों से कहा, डरो मत; क्योंकि परमेश्वर इस निमित्त आया है कि तुम्हारी परीक्षा करे, और उसका भय तुम्हारे मन में बना रहे, कि तुम पाप न करो।
- 21और वे लोग तो दूर ही खड़े रहे, परन्तु मूसा उस घोर अन्धकार के समीप गया जहां परमेश्वर था।।

- 23तुम मेरे साथ किसी को सम्मिलित न करना, अर्थात् अपने लिये चान्दी वा सोने से देवताओं को न गढ़ लेना।
- 24मेरे लिये मिट्टी की एक वेदी बनाना, और अपनी भेड़- बकरियों और गाय- बैलों के होमबलि और मेलबलि को उस पर चढ़ाना; जहां जहां मैं अपने नाम का स्मरण कराऊं वहां वहां मैं आकर तुम्हें आशीष दूंगा।
