तब उस ने वहां के लोगों से पूछा, कि वह देवदासी जो एनैम में मार्ग की एक और बैठी थी, कहां है? उन्हों ने कहा, यहां तो कोई देवदासी न थी।

Tab us ne vahaam ke logom se poochhaa, ki vah devadaasee jo enaim mem maarg kee ek aur baithee thee, kahaam hai? Unhom ne kahaa, yahaam to koee devadaasee na thee.

King James Version (KJV): Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where [is] the harlot, that [was] openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this [place].
World English Bible (WEB): Then he asked the men of her place, saying, “Where is the prostitute, that was at Enaim by the road?” They said, “There has been no prostitute here.”

23तब यहूदा ने कहा, अच्छा, वह बन्धक उस के पास रहने दे, नहीं तो हम लोग तुच्छ गिने जाएंगे: देख, मैं ने बकरी का यह बच्चा भेज दिया, पर वह तुझे नहीं मिली।
