परन्तु ये बातें मैं ने इसलिये तुम से कहीं, कि जब उन का समय आए तो तुम्हें स्मरण आ जाए, कि मैं ने तुम से पहिले ही कह दिया था: और मैं ने आरम्भ में तुम से ये बातें इसलिये नहीं कहीं क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारे साथ था।

Parantu ye baatem maim ne isaliye tum se kaheem, ki jab un kaa samay aae to tumhem smaran aa jaae, ki maim ne tum se pahile hee kah diyaa thaa: aur maim ne aarambh mem tum se ye baatem isaliye naheem kaheem kyonki maim tumhaare saath thaa.

King James Version (KJV): But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
World English Bible (WEB): But I have told you these things so that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you about them. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
American Standard Version (ASV): But these things have I spoken unto you, that when their hour is come, ye may remember them, how that I told you. And these things I said not unto you from the beginning, because I was with you.

5अब मैं अपने भेजनेवाले के पास जाता हूं और तुम में से कोई मुझ से नहीं पूछता, कि तू कहां जाता हैं?
6परन्तु मैं ने जो ये बातें तुम से कही हैं, इसलिये तुम्हारा मन शोक से भर गया।
