Us ne aankhem uthaakar us yaatree ko nagar ke chauk mem baithe dekhaa; aur us boodhe ne poochhaa, too kidhar jaataa, aur kahaam se aataa hai?

16तब एक बूढ़ा अपने खेत के काम को निपटाकर सांझ को चला आया; वह तो एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश का था, और गिबा में परदेशी होकर रहता था; परन्तु उस स्थान के लोग बिन्यामीनी थे।

18उस ने उस से कहा, हम लोग तो यहूदा के बेतलेहम से आकर एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश की परली ओर जाते हैं, मैं तो वहीं का हूं; और यहूदा के बेतलेहेम तक गया था, और यहोवा के भवन को जाता हूं, परन्तु कोई मुझे अपने घर में नहीं टिकाता।
19हमारे पास तो गदहों के लिये पुआल और चारा भी है, और मेरे और तेरी इस दासी और इस जवान के लिये भी जो तेरे दासों के संग है रोटी और दाखमधु भी है; हमें किसी वस्तु की घटी नहीं है।
