इसलिये जब तू दान करे, तो अपने आगे तुरही न बजवा, जैसा कपटी, सभाओं और गलियों में करते हैं, ताकि लोग उन की बड़ाई करें, मैं तुम से सच कहता हूं, कि वे अपना फल पा चुके।

Isaliye jab too daan kare, to apane aage turahee na bajavaa, jaisaa kapatee, sabhaaom aur galiyom mem karate haim, taaki log un kee badaaee karem, maim tum se sach kahataa hoom, ki ve apanaa phal paa chuke.

King James Version (KJV): Therefore when thou doest [thine] alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
World English Bible (WEB): Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
