परमेश्वर हमारा शरणस्थान और बल है, संकट में अति सहज से मिलनेवाला सहायक।
To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
इस कारण हम को कोई भय नहीं चाहे पृथ्वी उलट जाए, और पहाड़ समुद्र के बीच में डाल दिए जाएं;
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
चाहे समुद्र गरजे और फेन उठाए, और पहाड़ उसकी बाढ़ से कांप उठे।।
[Though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
एक नदी है जिसकी नहरों से परमेश्वर के नगर में अर्थात् परमप्रधान के पवित्रा निवास भवन में आनन्द होता है।
[There is] a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy [place] of the tabernacles of the most High.
परमेश्वर उस नगर के बीच में है, वह कभी टलने का नहीं; पौ फटते ही परमेश्वर उसकी सहायता करता है।
God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early.
जाति जाति के लोग झल्ला उठे, राज्य राज्य के लोग डगमगाने लगे; वह बोल उठा, और पृथ्वी पिघल गई।
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
सेनाओं का यहोवा हमारे संगे है; याकूब का परमेश्वर हमारा ऊंचा गढ़ है।।
The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of Jacob [is] our refuge. Selah.
आओ, यहोवा के महाकर्म देखो, कि उस ने पृथ्वी पर कैसा कैसा उजाड़ किया है।
Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
वह पृथ्वी की छोर तक लड़ाइयों को मिटाता है; वह धनुष को तोड़ता, और भाले को दो टुकड़े कर डालता है, और रथों को आग में झोंक देता है!
He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
चुप हो जाओ, और जान लो, कि मैं ही परमेश्वर हूं। मैं जातियों में महान् हूं, मैं पृथ्वी भर में महान् हूं!
Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
सेनाओं का यहोवा हमारे संग है; याकूब का परमेश्वर हमारा ऊंचा गढ़ है।।
