And it shall come to pass, [that] when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

It will happen that when anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him, ‘You must die, because you speak lies in the LORD’s name;’ and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies.

3. 3और यदि कोई फिर भविष्यद्वााणी करे, तो उसके माता- पिता, जिन से वह उत्पन्न हुआ, उस से कहेंगे, तू जीवित न बचेगा, क्योंकि तू ने यहोवा के नाम से झूठ कहा है; सो जब वह भविष्यद्वाणी करे, तब उसके माता- पिता जिन से वह उत्पन्न हुआ उसको बेध डालेंगे।
4. 4उस समय हर एक भविष्यद्वक्ता भविष्यवाणी करते हुए अपने अपने दर्शन से लज्जित होंगे, और धोखा देने के लिये कम्बल का वस्त्रा न पहिनेंगे,
5. 5वरन्तु वह कहेगा, मैं भविष्यद्वक्ता नहीं, किसान हूं; क्योंकि लड़कपन ही से मैं औरों का दास हूं।
