3. 23ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಇದ್ದವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.
4. 24ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಎಣಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿ ಸಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ರೌದ್ರವು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಗೊಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆ ಲೆಕ್ಕವು ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
