ನೆಡುವವನೂ ನೀರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನೂ ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದರೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಲಿಯು ದೊರೆಯುವದು.

King James Version (KJV): Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

6ನಾನು ಸಸಿಯನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟೆನು, ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋ ಸನು ನೀರು ಹೊಯಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಾತನು ದೇವರು.
7ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನೆಡುವವ ನಾಗಲಿ ನೀರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನಾಗಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾ ದವನಲ್ಲ, ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ದೇವರೇ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದವನು.
8ನೆಡುವವನೂ ನೀರು ಹೊಯ್ಯುವವನೂ ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದರೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಲಿಯು ದೊರೆಯುವದು.
9ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಲಸದವರು; ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಹೊಲವೂ ದೇವರ ಕಟ್ಟಡವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
10ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವೀಣಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಂತೆ ಆಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದೆನು. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತಾನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೋ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
