13ನೀನು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನಾದ, ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆಳುವನೆಂದೂ ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೆಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅದೋನೀಯನು ಆಳುವದು ಯಾಕೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು.
14ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತ ನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
15ಆಗ ಬತ್ಷೆಬೆಳು ಕೊಠಡಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದಳು.
16ಅರ ಸನು ಅತಿವೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಶೂನೇಮ್ಯಳಾದ ಅಬೀಷಗ್‌ಳು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಬತ್ಷೆಬೆಳು ಬಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆ ಮಾಡಿದಳು. ಅರಸನು--ನಿನಗೇನು ಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
17ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆಳುವನೆಂದೂ ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೆಂದೂ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದಿ.
