3. 43ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡೆ ನೋಡು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿ--ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ಏಳು ಸಾರಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡು ಅಂದನು.
4. 44ಏಳನೇಸಾರಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಇವನು--ಇಗೋ, ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನ ಅಂಗೈಯಷ್ಟು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮೇಘವು ಏಳುತ್ತದೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ--ಮಳೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಟಂಕ ಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಇಳಿದುಹೋಗೆಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.
5. 45ಆಗ ಇದ್ದ ಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಕಾಶವು ಮೇಘಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಗಾಳಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಳೆಯು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಅಹಾಬನು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ಎಲೀಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ನಡುವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಇಜ್ರೇಲಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಹಾಬನಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಓಡಿದನು.
